Demoagro 2015 was closed on the last 29th of May and it got its main goal of over 30,000 visitors (8,000 visitors for the first day, 15,000 visitors on the second day and 12,000 visitors on the third day). Its 80 hectares splited in 127 fields were a great exposition where we could enjoy the most modern machinery in the market... Definitely, the farm fair had a good organization which made very easy the access, boarding and leaving the farm fair.
This time, we could visit the farm fair on the two first days. Besides, we commented about the first edition of Demoagro in 2013, that farm fair was spectacular. In this occasion, the journeys were really hot (on the first edition, there were rainy days) so tractors generated so much dust and it caused hard visit sometimes... this is the agriculture. We like visiting this mega farm fair because it allows us to see and mainly to test machinery (tractors, tools,...) we won't have in our small farm. Similarly, a large variety of technology was exposed and maybe our poor Spanish farming market will not be able to assume it in many years.
Regarding the most important novelties, we were very grateful after testing the new Valtra T4 Series and the John Deere 6R Series... they are really fantastict. Massey Ferguson launched its new 7700 Series, that we tested using a large Ovlac chissel. The 4700 Global Series of Massey Ferguson was ourpleasantness beacuse these tractors are absolutely mechanical (it is an exception in this farm fair) and we are sure they will have an important market share in Spain because they are ideal for humble farms. We could test the new Deutz-Fahr 9 Series joined to the nice Agrotron 7250TTV Warrior and the new CShift gearboxes used in the successful Agrotron 6 Series. Maybe, we missed the new Deutz-Fahr 11 Series and the Fendt 1000 Series... we will have to wait more time to see them in action. Another thing that caught our attention was there wasn't any Same tractor. Finally, we could see the monstrous New Holland T9.565... it was a really nice show... we couldn't see what is the best tractor in the farm fair :(
On the other hand the implements such as ploughs, seed drills, disc harrows, big balers... we have spoken about stands of Durán Maquinaria Agrícola S.L., Ålö Quicke, Arcusin, Jympa, Solá Group Seed Drill and Gascón Internacional... All of them are companies which are doing their work very fine and what had a large variety of tools on the farm fair. We could see how these tools work and we could get some conclusions about which are the best for us in our area together with how we must use them. Other pretty good places to visit were the fields of Kuhn, Väderstad, Lemken and Deltacinco (it is an importing company of Amazone tools for Spain)... there were great implements for big farms or contractors.
