Firstly, we would like to say the farm fair (it was the first edition) was absolutely extraordinary. The best farm show where we have ever been to. For those who couldn't attend the fair, we encourage them to visit it in the next edition. All brands there had an important deployment on machinery and people could test them without problems... the exhibitors animated us to test their machineries and the environment was fantastic. Unfortunately, it rained during the three fair days, so the 65 ha of fields used for the exhibition were mud and walking there was really difficult. At least, rain is welcome for farmers, the farm final qualification/mark is 10/10 for us.
During the day we were there, we could test the new Kubota M135GX (its rotation angle surprised us), the auto-guidance system of Ag Leader, the Case IH Maxxum 130 Multicontroller (it has a nice design and a very elegant cab), the John Deere 6150R (it showed us a big power and sturdiness join a great line design and smoothness in its AutoPower gearbox). At New Holland stand, we could test the new T5 and the T7.235 together with Pöttinger tools. Which are practical and manageable tractors.
After that, we visited Deutz-Fahr stand. Our expectations were very high and they didn't disappoint us: the new Agrotron 6190P works really fine (its investor is great and its powershift gearbox is very soft) and the Agrotron 7250TTV with a Kvernelad plough amazed us. Finally, we could test the new 5 series, the DF 5110 specifically. It has 60/60 gears so we think it is an ideal tractor for garlic, onions,... or to work with a frontloader because it has an extra hydraulic pump what can be activated by the driver when he need more caudal and it gets 66 l/min at 1,600 r.p.m. Also, you can configure P.T.O. with four gears.
At the end, we tested the Fendt 718. When you work with it and you activate the Tempomat system, it actually looks like a Boeing :)... the new Visio plus cab and its developed performance are impressive. The Claas stand this time was ideal for the prestige of this brand. We could work with a mowing machine and the Arion 650. When we switched on its auto-guidance system, the job was really comfortable.
Finally, we would remark this farm fair was spectacular what is highly recommended by us. All farmers can visit it next edition (there were over 22.000 visitors this year). Thanks a lot for the warm environment created and showing us, without limits, every machinery. Chapeau!!!
