Last week, we were in the fantastic event called "Vision of the Future 2014" organized by Massey Ferguson which held near its factory in Beauvais Town (France). Thank you very much for this invitation and congratulations on the great organized event. We published information about the last edition of this event in 2012 when Massey-Ferguson launched its new 7600 Series.
Our trip began on the 27th of August when we flew (charter flight) from Madrid to Paris (we did a layover in Barcelona in order to pick up more attendees). We think that spending whole day travelling is really tired. We had a nice reward because we visited the cabs factory (called Beauvais 2) as you can see in some pictures and after that, we had a great dinner together with friends and farmers who love agricultural machinery. The residence and event was carried out in the Polytechnique Institute of LaSalle in the Beauvais Town too (We get our high school degree in La Salle, in Madrid, so this trip reminded us of our student life). The main day of this event (on the 28th of August) was split in two seccions: firstly, in the morning we attended conferences. Secondly, in the evening there were tests of whole Massey Ferguson products series on the field. The conferences were not really interesting (we think the best one was Syngenta conference where they spoke about their new Hyvido project). After that, we went to the testing field there we could enjoy complete Massey-Ferguson tractors series. These tractors didn't have any implements, so the tests were very weak. For the next edition, we hope conferences can be improved being more professional and interesting; besides, we would like to be able to test all tractors with its tools in order to find out its authentic behavior in real working.
We could test the new MF5600 series and its Alö Quicke frontloaders. We caught up our expectations with these tractors. The frontloader is really extraordinary. Also, we could drive the biggest Massey Ferguson tractor, the MF 8737. We could feel its great suspension (cab and front axle) and the experience of driving is a real pleasure. At the end, all Massey Ferguson products danced a nice choreography... it was absolutely enjoyable. At the end of the day, we had a dinner party where we could taste two exquisite wines and French food.
Finally, the 29th of August was a day to came back Barcelona and Madrid and from there, all attendees come back at their homes in Spain.
