JCB Agriculture

Last May, TractorAlba, official distributor of JCB in our area, invited us to an event organized in Miguelturra (Ciudad Real) where we were able to see the range of products that the English manufacturer has dedicated to agriculture. This was an interesting event that took place at Los Cigarrones farm, a beef farm with a large area of arable land where they have recently acquired a JCB Fastrac 8330 iCON.

As for the range of products we could see, it was the complete range that JCB Agriculture offers on the market and which consists of the following types of machines:

Loading equipment

Telescopic handlers
Loaders
Teleloaders
All terrain forklift trucks

Fastrac iCON tractors

4000 Series
8000 Series

If we have to highlight some of the things that caught our attention, it was definitely the Fastrac iCON tractors. We had the opportunity to work with them and see how comfortable the cabin is and how fast they are on the road... the feeling was of a very exclusive tractor and very focused on jobs where road travel is important. Here are some of the features that make them particularly unique:

Maximum power up to 350 hp.
Homologated speed up to 70 km/h.
Active hydropneumatics suspension on both axles.
Ventilated dry disc brakes on both axles.
Wheelbase up to 3200 mm.
Lifting capacity up to 10,000 kg.
190 l/min hydraulic pump.
AGCO Power engine.
Stepless AGCO Vario ML transmission.
Tractor net weight up to 15,000 kg.
On the 4000 Series, both axles are steered and it is an isodiametric tractor (4 equal wheels).

As far as loading equipment is concerned, the event served to show that JCB has a range of products to cover any farmer's needs, as the range of machines is so wide that in some cases it is difficult to make the right choice of the ideal machine for the needs to be covered.
