Fendt Field Day 2018: “Future to the Field”

Last month, we could enjoy two fantastic days in "Fendt Saaten-Union Field Day" event under the slogan "Future to the Field" on 22nd and 23rd of August in Wadenbrunn (Germany). We had the privilege of being able to share these two days with fantastic journalists of the agricultural sector from whom we always learn many interesting things: Julián of "Agrotécnica", Jesús of "Agricultura", Fátima of "Profesional AGRO", David of "Interempresas" and Pilar of Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. Besides, we would like to thank all marketing department of Fendt Spain for their support during these two days.

The first session was dedicated to the international press, where Fendt showed the evolution of its sales strategy marked up to 2020. Definitely, all a successful progress with the objective of having a complete "full-line" of products (tractors from 70 to 517CV, combines and implements). The following machinery was presented:

• The Fendt Slicer TKC and TRC disc mowers
• The Fendt Former Hay Rake
• The Fendt Rotana round balers
• The self-propelled and trailed Fendt Rogator
• Then Fendt Rollector
• The forage wagon Fendt Tigo PR and XR
• The Fendt IDEAL Combine
• The Fendt tractors Series MT
• Smart Farming (electric Fendt Vario e100 tractor, Xaver robot and precision planting seed drill)

The second session was a field day, where we could see all the machinery working as you can see in our videos. More than 50,000 people spent all day at the event where demonstrations were made with all kinds of machinery.

The field, of more than 100 hectares, was split into several areas, where we could see tractors working with different soil cultivation equipment, another area for harvesting and forage, an area for smart farming and finally one static area for implements where we could see seed drills, trailers, rollers, chisel, ... of different brands. We could also see implements working for the prestigious brands like Amazone, Joskin, Lemken, Rauch, Horsch, Kverneland, etc., but without any doubt, we fell in love with Fendt 313 and Fendt 718 tractors.

It was a really nice experience that we recommend all the farm lovers for next year. It is the largest event organized by a brand of agricultural machinery manufacturer together with the Saaten-Union Cooperative. This event reminded us of our beloved Demoagro, but in this case exclusively for Fendt.
