Gascón RT-R Disc Harrow

For this season and after we have seen a few brands like Kverneland, Razol, Kuhn, Torpedo, La Sidero, Solano-Horizonte, Noli,..., a few models and different configurations, we have bought a new disc harrow.
We chose RT-R Gascón. This Spanish brand has a strong presence in the farm markets, it has all features we were looking for, farmers' comments show the quality is optimal and the price is very competitive.

This tool type is great for our soil (hard and dry) in summer when we want to crush stubbles working with big or medium deep. Our disc harrow is a small tool because we will use our Deutz-Fahr Agrotron 85 (99ph) to work with it.

We have another old Halcón disc harrow which works very fine but its discs are very worn and we must do an important investment to remodel it. I think we will have more options when we will be working with our new disc harrow.

The most important features of our disc harrows are:
  • Nº of discs: 22
  • Diameter disc: 660mm
  • Double waterprof on each side of double conical bearing.
  • Lifting hydraulic control of wheels
  • Adjustable linkage bar
  • Hydraulic adjustment angle of discs
  • Max working angle: 45º
  • Weight: 1850kg
  • Discs spacing: 24mm
  • Front toothed disc and rear flat disc. They are Bellota.

As soon as we use our disc harrows we will record a new video which will be publish in our YouTube channel and you will be notified.
